69. Annoyance - Crokobolds

An illustration for the bestiary I'm making for my silly P&P RPG. Crokobolds (the name is naturally a blend between crocodile and kobold) usually live by the water, near lakes or streams where they can swim and catch anything smaller than themselves for food and sport. Here the Crokobolds will build forts out of old rusty bicycles, tyres and other similar junk, and will often commandeer bridges and demand toll for people to pass. While small and quite stupid they come in quite great numbers, and can because of this still be a fight for a fully grown human/elf/lizardman.

The Crokobold to the left is clearly a chieftain or high-in-command, due to the very prestigious helmet and weapon it holds, and has even crafted itself a little necklace out of some rodent's skull, two bottlecaps and a pretty feather.

The one to the right is a regular Crokobold with a sock over its head and a quite bent fork.
They often bicker amongst themselves, and mutiny on a daily basis is not uncommon.

Crokobolds are very low level creatures and will mostly be around for annoyance and interesting encounters rather than challenging fights and phat lewt.
